Do you like to plan events?

We are looking for a few volunteers to help out on our neighborhood events committee.

The first event we are planning is our neighborhood 'Coffee Social'. There are several families in our community and we would like everyone to have a chance to get to know each other better. This is a great opportunity to take a break form our busy lives for an hour.

What would I need to do if I joined this committee? The planning committee would not be too time consuming. The amount of planning will be the committees discretion. This is not intended to be a stressful position. There is no mandate on when events need to be, however the end of the year does offer possibilities due to its seasonal festivites. The main focus is to allow neighbors an opportunity to interact with one another.

Next Event? We were considering following our intro 'Coffee Social' event up with a neighborhood Trunk-or-Treat for Halloween if there is sufficient interest. We would need help coordinating with those homes who would like to host a trunk.
