The area of Osgood will be developed. The question that remains is how. They want over 200 houses. The zoning board suggested max 110 to town council. Council has yet to vote on this request which was flat out denied last time. The vote that will come is to approve, or not, zone change from Agriculture to Single Family Low Density which can get the 200+ houses given the 111 acres.
This is the second meeting from the developers. LAst time they did not receive a warm welcome. I expect this time will go the same way but the goal is to keep our voices heard. The moment we stop showing up or stop talking, we lose. We want everyone to be aware that this optional meeting is happening. We welcome lots of discussion on this topic both on this page or in the discussion board.
